Over the Fourth of July weekend I was in Burlington, Vermont helping with an amazing wedding at the Northern Lights Cruise on Lake Champlain. Let me just say… what a beautiful location to have a wedding! It was absolutely one of my favorites; from the colorful sunset to the extravagant firework display on the lake… the entire event was breathtaking.
The bride and groom decided to do First Look photos which took place around 4:30 in the afternoon. They were lucky to get some photos outside on the pier before it started to downpour. The bride, groom, and party were brave and decided to take some pictures out in the rain! We dropped the plan for pictures outside and all ran onto the boat… and about ten minutes after the bride, groom, and party got on, the rain clouds parted ways and the sun was beaming! It turned into such a beautiful sunny evening and they captured some amazing pictures on the boat.
The flowers were picked out by the bride’s mother. Some friends and family helped put them together on the day of the wedding.
Guests truly enjoyed the origami place-cards that were made by the bride, groom, maid of honor and bride’s mother. It was a friend of the bride’s idea and each one was hand crafted beautifully to form a sailboat.
The bride and groom had decided to choose sailboat pictures for their place-cards because they had wanted it to be cute and affordable, also a friend of the bride’s idea.
When 9:30 p.m. came along the MC announced for everyone to gather outside for a firework display, and let me just tell you, these were SOME fireworks! I have never seen a firework display so large and so bright; it even lasted a whopping thirty-one minute!
